Campground Rules
We want all of our guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a pleasant, relaxing campground community. Please familiarize yourself with, and be certain to abide by, the following rules.
Speed Limit:
- 10 MPH throughout the campground
Quiet Hours:
- 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Do not run generators during these hours.
Audio Equipment:
- No loud music that could disturb other guests or those enjoying the surrounding areas.
Fires:
- In rings only
- Kept small and attended at all times
- Keep dousing water nearby
- Keep all debris and trash away from fire
- Extinguish fire before retiring or leaving site
- Special fire restrictions are occasionally implemented when the danger of danger of wild land fires is great
Check-Out Times:
- Check-in time: 2:00 pm
- Check-out time: 10:00 am
- Special arrangements may be made with office
Shower House:
- No smoking or loitering in or around shower house
- Please help us keep our bathrooms clean and pleasant for the next guests
- No dish washing allowed in bathrooms–use sink in community room
- Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- No sanitary napkins, tampons, paper towels or toilet tissue other than 1-ply tissue into our sewer system
- The shower house is closed for cleaning 11:00 AM – 2:00PM
Children:
- Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the actions, whereabouts, and safety of their children and guests at all times.
- Parents are financially responsible for any damage incurred by their children and guests.
- Those under 18 are not permitted on campground without a parent or guardian.
Visitors/Guests:
- Each site is limited to 6 people maximum, including children.
- Please do not assume you can use the neighboring site.
- All guests must be register upon arrival, pay guest fee, and obtain a vehicle pass before going to the site.
- Day visitors must leave no later than 10:00 pm.
- Visitors/guests are not permitted to bring pets.
Pets:
- Maximum of two pets per site.
- Pets must be kept on a short leash at all times or a durable chain or rope that does not allow the pet to leave the campsite.
- No pets permitted in shower house.
- Always clean up–scoop up–after your pet(s).
- Respect others by keeping your pet(s) controlled and quiet.
- Never leave pet(s) unattended.
- Complaints from other campers regarding excessive noise from your pet(s) may result in forfeiture of your site.
- Guests/visitors are not permitted to bring pets.
Telephone Messages:
- Messages posted on the message board in office.
- Only emergency messages will be delivered.
Cars/Licensed Drivers:
- Maximum of two cars per campsite.
- All vehicles must display a campground vehicle pass.
- Only persons with valid driver’s license are allowed to drive in park.
- No car washing.
- Park all extra vehicles in parking area.
Personal Conduct and Alcoholic Beverages:
- This campground is oriented towards relaxation and families.
- Alcoholic beverages and drugs are not permitted.
- Loud parties and unreasonable behavior will not be tolerated.
- Vandalism, profanity, and/or rowdy behavior is not tolerated.
- Firecrackers, firearms, BB gun, paint guns, sling shots, and chain saws are prohibited.
- Please remind children and guests to respect other campers’ privacy.
Trees & Foliage:
- No cutting or harming of trees with nails, screws, etc.
Holding Tanks (Dumping):
- An RV dump site is located 7 miles south of Yellowstone Vacation Campground, at Yellowstone RV, 117 Highway 89 S, Gardiner, MT 59030, 1-406-848-7496
- $6 per dump
- Available May 1 through October 31
- Dumping hours between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM
Trash:
- Place all trash in trash cans. Do not throw trash in campfires.
- Do not leave food or trash outside overnight as it attracts wild animals such as bears into the campground.
Patio Lights:
- Turn off lights before retiring.
- Mount lights so they do not present a hazard to anyone.
- No flashing lights permitted.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made 10 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of initial deposit, less a $5.00 handling fee per reservation.
- Cancellation received less than 10 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund.
- Reservations are not transferable.
- No refunds for early departure or inclement weather.
